About the Miami Dade College Foundation

Established in 1965, the Miami Dade College Foundation plays a pivotal role in raising essential funds to support scholarships, academic programs, and student services at Miami Dade College (MDC). With a commitment to ensuring that students have the resources
they need to pursue their dreams, the Foundation has been instrumental in distributing $26.8 million in support of MDC’s students and programs during the 2022-2023 academic year.

MDC, known as Democracy’s College, is the largest degree-granting institution in the nation. The college offers over 300 distinct degree pathways across its eight campuses, including baccalaureate degrees in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence,
cybersecurity, and data analytics, among others. This dedication to accessible, high-quality education prepares students for the workforce of tomorrow and strengthens the community through world-class arts and cultural programming.
